The Fleur Groenendijk Foundation (FGF) was founded in 1997. Since 2014 the FGF aims to motivate upcoming young professionals in their formation and educational development in the field of architecture, visual art or art in public space.
Do you have a project in the field of architecture, visual art or art in public space but you do not have the financial means to realize this project? The FGF offers a quarterly financial donation of € 2.500.
Each quarter the board of the FGF judges the applications. The applications must be small-scale and serve the public interest. The project must be executed by voluneers. Check our criteria if your application fits within our parameters.
Since 2015 the Fleur Groenendijk Fund and the Academy of Architecture in Rotterdam (RAvB) have introduced a annual encouragement award called De Meester of 5000 euro, awarded to the best graduate of that year.
Rem Koolhaas made a preliminary design for a house for Fleur Groenendijk. The plan has been used for the design of Casa da Musica in Porto, Portugal. CREDITS: OMA
